Time Ticking..
I’m sure you all noticed how fast time is ticking, or should I say how fast time is running.. I mean you wake up in the morning do a couple of things and when you check the clock you realize that almost 4 hours have passed while you did only a few things..
subhanAllah..
TO be honest, it is scaring me a lot.. to the extent that at times I can’t sleep at night from fear.. Fear of what?
Continue reading and you will know why..
As we know that time passing by fast is one of the signs of the hours, signs that show us how close the Day of Judgment is.
Our beloved prophet – Peace Be Upon him – mentioned that from the signs of the hours, the time will pass fast.. To the extent that a year would seem like a month, a month like a week, a week like a day and a day like a couple of hours..
Haven’t you all realized that this is what’s happening now?
All this proof yet people still have doubts that Islam is the true religion of all humans..
I remember when I used to tell my sis.. “When will you give birth to your child we are all excited” and subhanAllah two months have passed since she gave birth..
I remember telling her those words as if it was just yesterday..
SubhanAllah..
I remember when I started my summer course.. SubhanAllah, as if it was just yesterday..
Time is ticking too fast.. We are growing old fast..
What have we prepared for our hereafter?
There is not much time left..
What scares me the most, is that I know that almost all of the signs of the hours have occurred and I’m still not ready to face Allah.. I have a lot of things that I need to do, actually MUST do yet I have many obstacles.. but inshaALlah I will try my best to achieve it all ..
Stop wasting your times, specially in these coming days.. Because we are losing track of time.. so please seize every second..
May Allah have mercy on all Muslims..
أسأل الله سبحانه و تعالى أن يصلحنا و يهدينا و إياكم الصراط المستقيم, و أن يرزقنا حسن الخاتمة و أن يقينا عذاب النار.
Ameen
thats right time passes quickly mat7seen felwagt.
Jazakee Allah 5airan…
I know how scary this is, especially when it’s time for something to end and u realise not much was done!!
Like this summer holiday… I hate to blame myself 4 not using it fully, but it’s true… Blaming is not right and brings u no benefit!
(except though, it’s important & is of benefit in tawba, but this is not the case I guess)…
But Going always toward the right things and Doing always the right job, is better for now v_v
Hope, you are right and I listen to this a lot from my dad and a friend on mine. You are right and it is very scary to contemplate on the after life and what will happen to us, the problem is the way some 3olama2 dein approach people with the topic; Just scares people off… wa3eed o tahdeed.
Allah yehdi eljamee3 o yer7amna enshallah
“the problem is the way some 3olama2 dein approach people with the topic; Just scares people off… wa3eed o tahdeed.”
You are right chikapappi, it’s a big problem, there are some du3aat, who just scare people off without giving them the knowledge that help ppl to stay away from sins, I mean they just show you how bad sins are and whats the panishmenet and so, and they tell the stories that we dont know if it’s real or not.
But some 3olama2 who advise you and give you the knowledge that helps you to know more about Islam(Sunnah) and they clearify what’s wrong and what’s right.
The problem is that most ppl nowadays they like stories and the way of some du3aat in lecturing.
What will we get from Wa3eed o tahdeed and wa3′6 only while we dont know the basics of Islam !!!
معروف بأن منهج أهل السنة هو قال الله, قال الرسول وليس بالقصص
Barak Allah feekom
sister chikapappi , brother numb..
Jazakoum Allah khair both of you for your comments..
scaring people off is not always the right solution, specially nowadays..
i remember years back, i didn’t like attending or lsnting to lectures that would scare me when they mention about the 3athab and all.. cos it used to scare me big time.. but subhanAllah i lsnted to some scholars that had a nice way in convincing us to stop making sins..
it depends on the scholar’s ability in communicating with people…
See… I say it and I will not be shy, I have always wanted to attend letures bas never actually did it…
I sit watch them on TV sometimes and sometimes with my dad, like Amr Khaled, I don’t like his style and then there is this other sheikh who i listen to on the radio, bas once I found out he interprets dreams on TV, I kinda had this erry feeling you know what i mean…
Hope, where do you go??
chikapappi –> i can recommend some scholars to you.. such as “Mohammad Al Arefe” محمد العريفي
Abdulmihsin al ahmad عبدالمحسن الأحمد
Nabeel al awadi نبيل العوضي
Mohammad al awadi محمد العوضي
I attend some lectures in dxb.. cos that’s where i’m from
sorry I don’t know much about the lectures that are held in kuwait ..
I agree with u all… But I agree more with what numb said :
“But some 3olama2 who advise you and give you the knowledge that helps you to know more about Islam(Sunnah) and they clearify what’s wrong and what’s right”
There are those 3olama2, but u have to be careful when looking for them…
U know, I always liked to listen to do3aas and wo3a’6hum that help us in recognising the world around us, but when I learn about my religion from mashaye5 instead of hearing wa3′6 all the time… I learn more and feel myself aqrab and closer to Allah sub7anah O ta3ala…
I mean it’s good to balance when hearing lectures: between those who give advises and give us wo3a’6, and those who teach us ta3aleem el islaam o shara2e3aah…
I remember there is ATHAR of one Salaf, I think he is Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal .. he listened to a man who was lecturing and his way like wa3′6 and tarheeb, the Imam cried because of what he heared but he said, that’s not our way and not the way of the prophet and 9a7abah.
Jazak ALlah khair brother Numb for sharing this story..
sister Ms.Rosie..
Barak ALlah feech for passing
I agree time does past by so fast, not too fast I hope. This life is a road of a passing journey. That is why it is so important to stay in the faith, because Insh’Allah we could be gone tomorrow. Beautiful post candle of hope!
