An End………
She looked at me and shrugged. Her eyes filled with sadness and her heart filled with regret. I knew what she was going through was hard, because I have been through that, yet I knew that if stayed in that way she would never improve as a Muslim.
This is how the story begins:
Noor Al Jannah was a very enthusiastic Muslim, she was so eager to learn more about Islam. She believed that she was in the begging of her expedition of finding happiness through Islam. It wasn’t until months later when she noticed that her expedition came to an end. Not because she was saturated with knowledge about her religion (there’s never an end to knowledge) but because she lost interest in learning. It seemed to her that whenever she had to follow the path towards Islam, she would create her own path that would lead her away from her journey.
It is a normal phase for all Muslims to go through, just how a person gets ups and downs in his personal life, you also get ups and downs in your Iman.
It is a normal phase for all Muslims to go through, just how a person gets ups and downs in his personal life, you also get ups and downs in your Iman.
Many scholars have mentioned that it’s normal and that people should strive in order to get over that phase, but just cos your Iman got weaker doesn’t make you a bad person and does not make you a bad Muslim. It is just that when you come to realize the change In you, you shouldn’t sit down, arms rapped expecting your Iman to boost up on itself, but what you have to do is boost it up yourself.
We should try to remember that this phase is normal, most Muslims go through that, but what we should also remember is that we should overcome this phase by trying harder..
May Allah strengthen our Iman..
Ameen
asalamu akeykum
usually the begining is a hard phase to penetrate and then it becomes easy it is only that one then strives to remain on the path by improving in faith if on starts to decline then one at some point will stop and then fall back.
but in the end there is nothing that tastes better than eman,
SubhaanAllah! that is so true!
this is so true, sister
so true….
i agree, that is common.. it happens to a lot of us
may Allah keep us on the right path, ameen
hope you’re feeling well
