Satans Puppets?
The fitna around us has been increasing day by day, and unfortunately everyone has been getting what they want through the path that Satan has drawn for them to follow. Even the ones with strong iman are slowly shifting back and forth from the right path towards the wrong. It’s not because they want to but because Satan has his ways. Satan’s whispers are very lethal, very poisoning and very evil. All what he wants from us, humans, is to disobey Allah, and unfortunately we are allowing him to play us like puppets. Satan has been controlling the minds, hearts and feelings of people. Whether they were Muslims or not, all what Satan wants to achieve is to simply drag us down to hell with him.
(Iblis) said: “O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,- “Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace).”
Surah Al Hijr (Habitation) : 39-40
Satan has made a vow that he shall not leave us alone until we take the wrong paths, just like how he did with Adam and Eve, when he filled their ears with poisonous words convincing them to eat from the tree that Allah has told them not to eat from.
People have been responding to Satan’s calls. If he tells them to wear tight clothes, they would follow him blindly. If he asks them to remove the Hijab, they would do that in fractions of a second, but what about Allah, the most Merciful, our Creator, the most Gracious. It has been mentioned in the Quran and by our Beloved Prophet – Peace be upon him – that we shouldn’t follow the steps of Satan. Yet you find people running hastily to fulfill Satan’s desires. It has been mentioned clearly in the Holy Quran that we should cover up properly yet people act as if they can’t read and go with what the Quran and sunnah disapproves.
What is going on with the Muslims?
What is going on with people?
Is it too hard to cover up, to wear decent clothes and to be obedient to our parents?
It is not too hard to follow the right path, all what it needs is insistence on following the right path.

Even if we try to get away from Satan (oh, we never can get away from him, can we?), there’s always nafs bothering our way. Even how hard it is we try, in the end we’ll always surrender to both, oh how weak our iman is….
The best is to only mujahadah and istiqamah in whatever good things we do, and pray for Allah to keep away Satan from us….ameen. =>
