Be Happy For Others
As a little child, when you used to receive your report card and find out that you got high grades, you would run as fast as you could to spread out the news so that everyone around you would congratulate you and share your joy. Even now, as we grow older, this is still within us. The more you share your happy news with people the more you feel happy. However, as a child when you go back home with good grades and no one seems to care, this situation would de-motivate you and would easily tear out the happiness in your heart. Instead of you celebrating your good achievement, you would feel upset because no one cared to share your happiness and joy. I don’t know why sometimes, the people close to you become so “cold” emotionally, specially when they know that their happiness places a crucial role in your life. What even hurts the most is when people who aren’t so close to you are the ones who are truly happy for you. As Muslim brothers and sisters, we should always share the happiness and joy of each other. specially when we know that our happiness for them would put a BIG smile on their face. No matter what the situation was, you should still be happy for your friend as long as they aren’t doing something that Allah has forbidden..
If you would like people to be happy for you, then be happy for people.. As our Prophet - Peace Be Upon Him – mentioned:
عن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه خادم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : ( لايؤمن أحدكم حتى يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه ) ، رواه البخاري و مسلم .

You know sis you find people share the happiness with some celebrities like if they won a noble prize, you see people in an ARAB COUNTRY, celebrating it even though that celebrity is from a western country… We’re celebrating for some moshrik got a noble prize? What about the Muslims in the same country that we’re in? Our problem is that we only care about people we know or like, for example we don’t shake hands with people we don’t know in shopping malls. as a matter of fact, the ones who are close to u feel u more than others usually do… when u r confused they get confused too, when u become lost, they try to find the solution when they realize that u r …
As for myself… i tried being in the situation where some of the not-close friends got married, it was so exciting and wonderful and iwas to0 happy and glad…
however, when one of my best friends was on her process to get married… the exitment had decreased day by day cuz u R living the moments.. sub7anAllah , this is the nature of humans…
The concerend person;the happy person; shall understand more and dont stick his thoughts to a dot on the page, however, shall take an overview look… and at that time… he/she will know… in life, nothing is just black or white, there are shades, when one of my best friends marriage got close, there were some shades, there were some reflexes… which she may not have felt them from others, why? Bcz i got so attached to her… and bcz she never tried one of her best friends leaving.. slowly…
